As someone who wrote two articles of this nature, I cringed a bit when I read this sentence.

In my defense, though, I wrote them partly out of frustration at seeing YET another one of those articles that kept going on about the same three things. I thought I'd talk about some of the things I ACTUALLY do for a living, seeing that I've been doing some of them for a decade (or more).

In a way, I'm like Luke Skywalker only just brushing up against the dark side without getting fully immersed in it. Except I don't want to end up a Force Ghost.
