Ella, your experience in Chiang Mai was the inspiration for this article! I had the impression you were committed to spending years in Southeast Asia, but “things happened”, and you changed your plans. I knew about the air and water pollution, and then the parasites, for the rest, I used my imagination and my own experiences. :)
