Euromonitor’s big in my niche (market research). I also have access to CEIC and EMIS. CEIC really speeds up gathering macroeconomic data if that’s what you’re looking for.

Bloomberg is fantastic for finance writers but it’s a huge ask. I only just made it work by sharing terminal access with two other people but it was still a sizable fixed cost — I cannot reveal the number because Bloomberg holds on to that number very tightly.

Have you looked up Refinitiv? Last I checked, they have much more reasonable pricing, but that was before the Thomson Reuters Eikon-Refinitiv merger so I’m not sure what it is these days.
