Great article, Clément! If I'm not mistaken, Ryanair was the first low-cost airline to take this unbundling strategy to its logical extreme in that industry.
I like the idea of breaking down a complex product into smaller, "minimum viable products" (admittedly, stretching the definition here) and applying each to a narrowly-defined segment. It's actually the mechanism behind a business idea of mine (if I ever get around to working on it).
One other thing I've been thinking about is taking an unbundled product/service and applying it to a completely different niche. For instance, like how Discord's moving away from pure gaming to a generalised communication tool, cutting into Slack's market a little.
