I see your point, but I have been trying to push back against the narrative that moving from a rich to a developing country is simply about trading a high cost of living for a lower one. It will entail sacrifice, as you rightly say, so it’s better to contemplate moving with the expectation for sacrifice, rather than making the move and then being blindsided because things didn’t work as one expected.
