I'd definitely give Bali another chance after I do the rounds of the more developed countries. All I've done is Kuta (at the time, it felt like Little Brisbane), Canggu, and Ubud. Besides, after seeing the dogs with the faeces, believe me, one needs to see a place where more human development to restore one's faith in the better side of mankind.

Istanbul is a must-see for me too, and I'd swing by Bulgaria too, since my biggest freelancing clients are from there.
