It might sound strange seeing that I come from a place renowned for being a foodie paradise, but I truly learned to *eat* in Britain. And, yes, it’s the produce that did it for me. I didn’t eat fish or mushrooms until I’d been to England. And then I was hooked.

And the dairy! I remember the taste of the very first glass of milk I drank that came from a local farm in Shropshire. It was like no milk I’d ever had before, and it was glorious.
