He reminds me of... me when I was 13 years old, when I thought it was "cool" to name drop Marx, Vonnegut, and so on, and sprinkle multisyllabic words when simpler alternatives are readily available. I'd look down at people who write accessible prose that touches the lives of many people and declare haughtily that it was "rank populism" or similar rubbish.

To think of it, I really was a little shit when I was struggling through puberty. I don't know what this guy's excuse is, though.
