Nice article, Trudi! This one reminds me of something Jeff Bezos said. He breaks down decisions to two categories. Type 1 decisions are irreversible, and you should be very careful making them. Type 2 decisions are exactly what you said, if you don't like the decision you've made, you can always walk it back.
I think he characterised starting Amazon as a Type 2 decision because, if it didn't work out, he could always go back and find a job. Well, worked out for him quite nicely!
