This is an important topic, thank you for writing it, Yuko. Although sometimes I wonder. Our East and Southeast Asian cultures all tend towards silence on difficult issues -- some more silent than most -- that I wonder if we will be debating which way the pendulum should swing, tending towards openness or silence, until the end of time. :)
