Yes, it's a crying shame. Still, no amount of us pontificating about it is going to convince them otherwise. Not when they've been told their entire lives they can do "anything" as long as they put their hearts to it. They've been told to think we're the high priests in the temple trying to protect our positions by keeping the hoi polloi out.
