Yuko, as always I am impressed by your observations of life. This article resonated so much with me living in Malaysia. I am opting for the third of the Sakamoto Ryuichi advertisement’s options, i.e. moving to a foreign country, if only because it seems more bearable than the other two. I’ve tried shutting myself in for the past few months and it has done my mental health no good.
